Texas Notary Fee Schedule
Texas Government Code § 406.024 sets out the standard fees a Notary Public may charge for notary public services. In addition, § 406.111 sets out the fees of an online notarization.
$10.00 – Acknowledgment per 1st signer on same document. Each additional document will be an additional $10
$1.00 – Each additional signer on the same document. Each additional document will be an additional $1.00
An Acknowledgement is a certification that a signer personally appeared before the notary, was identified by the notary, and declared to the notary that the signer willingly signed the document for its intended purpose.
$10.00 – Jurat per signer per document
A Jurat is a certification that a signer personally appeared before the notary with an unsigned document, was identified by the notary, was put under sworn oath or affirmation to attest that the statements in the document were true, then signed the document in the presence of the notary.
$10.00 – Verification
A Verification is a certification that a signer personally appeared before the notary, was identified by the notary, acknowledged signing the document, was put under sworn oath or affirmation, and verified the statements in the document were true.
A Verification is a cross between an Acknowledgment and a Jurat. Unlike a Jurat, the document to be notarized may be signed beforehand.
$10.00 – Certified Copy of Non-Recordable Document – per certificate
A Certified Copy of a Non-Recordable Document is a certification that a document was presented to the notary by the document’s custodian, was photocopied by the notary, and is a true, exact, complete, and unaltered copy.

if an online notary notarizes the signatures of two persons named in the same notarial certificate, the charge will be $36, i.e. $25 + $10 + $1 = $36;
-
if an online notary notarizes the signatures of two persons, and there are separate notarial certificates for each signing party, the charge will be $70, i.e. $25 + $10 for the first notarization and $25 + $10 for the second notarization, which totals $70.
